The French Institute of the North Shore is housed in a turn of the century building that has a façade reminiscent of late 19th century Parisian architecture. Once inside, students step into a French world. Our non-traditional classrooms, decorated à la française, create an ambiance that compels our students to speak French.
Students enjoy learning French from native speakers in a comfortable and friendly setting. They are offered a wide variety of classes, ranging from beginner-level grammar and vocabulary to advanced conversation and Literature studies. Our highly interactive teaching method has our students speaking from day one, and each class prepares them to communicate with native French speakers.
Students at the French Institute participate in French cultural events throughout the year. They enjoy tasting the Beaujolais nouveau or attending a Bastille Day celebration. These events provide our students an opportunity to discover French culture while practicing their language skills.
